COVID-19 UPDATE January 2021

As the UK goes into another lockdown, the government has advised that garden centres are allowed to remain open as essential businesses this time. Three Willows will therefore remain OPEN FOR BUSINESS at the usual hours, with precautions in place to keep our staff and customers safe. Please see below for details of these.

Please Note: The cafe remains CLOSED. We will update as soon as this situation changes.

The garden centre continues to offer a HOME DELIVERY SERVICE during this time. This is free for local customers. If you wish to make an order for delivery, please telephone us on (01986) 892751 or 893834 .

I'm afraid our website does not currently offer online ordering, but please see our Facebook page for listings of some of the stock we have available.

Payment can be made by credit or debit card over the phone & you will be asked to advise us where you would like your delivery left in a safe place.

Upon delivery, please observe social distancing rules by maintaining a safe distance from our delivery driver.

We are able to deliver plants, trees, seeds, compost/bark/stones, tools, and gardening products, seed trays, pots, pet and birdcare products, winter fuels, giftware, cards, vouchers and anything else we have in stock in our indoor or outdoor areas.

Safety Precautions for Customers visiting the Garden Centre

To allow for social distancing within the garden centre, measures have been put in place to help staff and customers stay safe.

We will be operating a one-way system within the building. This is marked with arrows taped to the floor. We have also marked out 2 metre spacings on the floor to assist in maintaining social distancing, which we ask customers to respect for the safety of everyone.

A maximum of 2 customers per household will be allowed access to the shop.

On entering the building, we have a table with hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes for your basket/trolley, and gloves if required.

A table with screen has been placed in front of the counter which we ask for your goods to be placed on. The till area and other identified high touch points will be regularly sanitised throughout the day.

We are asking, where possible, that payments are made by debit/credit card. Contactless payments are now accepted up to £45.

Our toilet facilities will be closed to customers until further notice.

At times, for the safety of staff and customers, we may have to limit the number of customers in the centre at any one time. If a member of staff asks you to wait outside, we ask that you respect this decision and follow what has been asked of you.

We would like to thank all our customers who have supported us throughout the pandemic and allowed us to continue trading by using our delivery service and observing the rules in order to visit us safely.

About Three Willows Garden Centre

Three Willows is a friendly, family run garden centre on the outskirts of Bungay in Suffolk. Formerly of the old sawmill site on St Johns Road in Bungay, Three Willows moved to its new, purpose-built premises just half a mile away on Flixton Road, in September 2009. In our spacious indoor and outdoor shop areas, we stock a good selection of plants and garden sundries to cater for all your gardening requirements. You can also find refreshment in our onsite Willows Cafe, which offers hot and cold drinks, sumptuous cakes and scones, cream teas and light lunches. Three Willows Garden Centre is the ideal place to bring the family for lunch or afternoon tea, meet a friend for a coffee, or simply to wander round our displays seeking inspiration for your garden.

As a relatively small, independent garden centre, we pride ourselves on the friendly and personal service we are able to give our customers. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and pleasant shopping experience, in which customers can seek advice when needed, and where they can purchase high quality plants and gardening products they can trust. We research our suppliers thoroughly in order to find the best deals available, so we are able to offer competitive prices for the products we sell. Where possible, our plants are raised on-site in our polytunnels, whilst others are sourced from reputable wholesale nurseries. Three Willows Garden Centre is wheelchair friendly, with ample parking, disabled toilets and card payment facilities. Well behaved dogs are welcome into the shop and the outside seating area of the cafe.
